Specifically, I am considering: Terasic USB Blaster Wave Share USB Blaster (Rewritten version) Note: I have encountered issues with the cheaper version of the USB Blaster, as it never worked properly. Nevertheless Waveshare USB-Blaster V2 seems to be one of the few devices that are fully compatible with original USB Blaster by using a genuine FTDI FT245 chip. As I said in the other post, the TerAsic USB Blaster works well with Quartus and Altera devices. It is a solid choice. It is what I have used on Win 7 and Win 10 (I don't use Win 11) and have had no problems using it.
