Description Latency is a reserved keyword and special parameter in the Quartus® II Software, and will not be passed down through the design hierarchy. For more information on the Latency parameter search for "parameter definition" in Quartus II help. Resolution To workaround this issue add a user defined suffix / prefix to the parameter name.
