Why does the subsequent update of fabric core image via CvP not work as expected in Arria 10 devices? - Why does the subsequent update of fabric core image via CvP not work as expected in Arria 10 devices?
Description Arria® 10 devices only supports CvP Initialization mode, which means only the periphery image can be configured via flash device or JTAG. Then the fabric core image must be updated over PCIe for the first time. Further fabric core updates (or subsequent updates) would be considered as Update mode, which is not supported in Arria 10 devices. Resolution For subsequent updates in Arria 10 devices, use Partial Reconfiguration over Protocol instead of CvP Update. You can use the PCIe bus to perform Partial Reconfiguration.
