Why does the Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA Temperature Sensor IP core return an invalid temperature diode read out of 0x80000000 from the E-Tiles in Intel Stratix 10 TX ES devices? - Why does the Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA Temperature Sensor IP core return an invalid temperature diode read out of 0x80000000 from the E-Tiles in Intel Stratix 10 TX ES devices?
Description Due to a problem in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software version 18.0.1 and earlier, the Temperature Sensor Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA IP core may incorrectly read out 0x80000000 from E-Tile transceivers in Intel Stratix 10 TX ES devices which represents an invalid junction temperature measurement. Resolution This problem has been fixed in the Intel® Quartus® Prime Pro software version 18.1.
