Why do TX MAC and RX MAC statistics registers have non-zero values when the link partner sends PAUSE while the “Stop TX traffic when link partner sends PAUSE” option is enabled in the 25GE-1 F-Tile Ethernet FPGA Hard IP variant? - Why do TX MAC and RX MAC statistics registers have non-zero values when the link partner sends PAUSE while the “Stop TX traffic when link partner sends PAUSE” option is enabled in the 25GE-1 F-Tile Ethernet FPGA Hard IP variant?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 24.1, the TX MAC and RX MAC statistics register may have nonzero values when the link partner sends PAUSE while the “Stop TX traffic when link partner sends PAUSE” option is enabled in the 25GE-1 F-Tile Ethernet FPGA Hard IP variant. Resolution This problem is fixed beginning with the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 24.3.
