Description The Hybrid Memory Cube (HMC) IP can be configured for either full-width mode (16 lanes) or half-width mode (8 lanes). Due to a problem with the HMC example design in Quartus® Prime Pro 17.1, it does not generate when configured with 8 lanes and shows an error message : Error: Failed to generate example design example_design to: <directory_path> Resolution There is no workaround in Quartus® Prime Pro 17.1.
