40GbE MAC and PHY IP Core MAC RX Statistics Registers Might Not Be Readable in 40GBASE-KR4 Variations - 40GbE MAC and PHY IP Core MAC RX Statistics Registers Might Not Be Readable in 40GBASE-KR4 Variations
Description If you turn on statistics counters in your 40GBASE-KR4 40GbE IP core variation, and try to read an RX statistics counter, the read data might originate in a KR4-specific register instead. More specifically, if you read a register at offset 0x200 N in the offset range of 0x280 to 0x2B8, the IP core might return data from the KR4 register at offset N instead. Resolution This issue has no workaround. This issue is fixed in version 13.1 Update 1 of the 40- and 100-Gbps Ethernet MAC and PHY MegaCore function.
