Why does the Design Space Explorer need to recompile the base before compiling other seeds when operating in command-line mode? - Why does the Design Space Explorer need to recompile the base before compiling other seeds when operating in command-line mode?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II Software versions 13.0 SP1 and earlier you may find that when performing multiple compilations in parallel using the Design Space Explorer (DSE) in command-line mode a full base compile is performed prior to compiling any other seeds. Resolution This problem is specific to the command-line mode so the issue can be worked around by using DSE from the GUI. This problem is scheduled to be resolved in a future version of the Quartus II software.
