Platform designer crash on save/save as - Platform designer crash on save/save as
Hi, I am using Quartus Prima 18.1.0 Lite edition on WIN 10. I have troubles with Platform Designer - it keeps crashing on every "save" or "save as" attempt. JRE fatal error report appears in the project folder, but not much of a help for me. Anyone encountered similar problem or have suggestion where to look for solution?

Re: Platform designer crash on save/save as
Update: I have uninstalled 18.1 version and installed 15.1 (once run on WIN 10 without problems) and the problem persists (even worse)! Now every time I try running Qsys from Quartus, it crashes almost immediately, not allowing to let me do anything. I have no idea, where the problem may be, but after wasting the whole day, this is so frustrating. I'd be grateful for any guidance here. # A fatal error has been detected by the Java Runtime Environment: # # EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at pc=0x0000000057966adf, pid=4968, tid=5800 # # JRE version: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (8.0_05-b13) (build 1.8.0_05-b13) # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (25.5-b02 mixed mode windows-amd64 compressed oops) # Problematic frame: # C [msvcr100.dll+0x36adf] # # Failed to write core dump.
