Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition software version 25.3, you may see that the F-Tile Ethernet Multirate IP for 400GE operating in Advanced PTP Timestamp Accuracy Mode fails to meet the 1.5 ns accuracy requirement. This problem is limited to the 400GE rate in Advanced PTP Timestamp Accuracy Mode. The 400GE rate in Basic PTP Timestamp Accuracy Mode operates as expected. Additionally, the F-Tile Ethernet Multirate IP doesn’t exhibit PTP problem in Advanced PTP Timestamp Accuracy Mode for rates other than 400GE. Resolution As a workaround for this problem, it is recommended not to use the F-Tile Ethernet Multirate IP in Advanced PTP Timestamp Accuracy Mode for the 400GE rate in the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software version 25.3. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus Prime Pro Edition software.
