Why does partial reconfiguration(PR) fail after I attempt a reset of the Partial Reconfiguration Controller Stratix® 10 IP? - Why does partial reconfiguration(PR) fail after I attempt a reset of the Partial Reconfiguration Controller Stratix® 10 IP?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software version 18.1, you may see PR errors when you attempt a PR operation following a PR withdrawal by asserting a reset on the Partial Reconfiguration Stratix® 10 IP. This problem occurs in internal host mode, PR withdrawal does not have this problem in JTAG or AVST mode. This problem affects Stratix® 10 devices. Resolution To work around this problem, do not assert the reset on the Partial Reconfiguration Stratix® 10 IP during a PR operation when in internal host mode. If this problem occurs, perform a full device reconfiguration or power cycle to recover. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future release of the Quartus® Prime Pro Edition Software.
