Why doesn't version 2.0 of the Power Delivery Network (PDN) Tool support a VCCIO setting of 3.3V for Arria® V, Cyclone® V, or Stratix® V devices? - Why doesn't version 2.0 of the Power Delivery Network (PDN) Tool support a VCCIO setting of 3.3V for Arria® V, Cyclone® V, or Stratix® V devices?
Description Due to a bug in version 2.0 of the Power Delivery Network (PDN) Tool, a VCCIO setting of 3.3V is not supported for Arria® V, Cyclone® V, or Stratix® V devices. Resolution To work around this problem, select a VCCIO setting of 3.0V. Selecting 3.0V for VCCIO instead of 3.3V will result in a marginally lower Ztarget, which is beneficial for PDN design. Additional Information The problem has been fixed in PDN Tool V14.1.
