Limitations of upgrading an expired Triple-Speed Ethernet IP - Limitations of upgrading an expired Triple-Speed Ethernet IP
We have the following two licenses for the Triple-Speed Ethernet IP that we use in an older Quartus project for Cyclone V: | Vendor | Product | Version | Expiration | Altera (6AF8) | Triple-Speed Ethernet (00BD) | 2015.11 | permanent | Altera (6AF7) | Triple-Speed Ethernet (00BD) | 2015.11 | permanent After upgrading the project to Quartus 20.1.1std I am wondering if also upgrading the Ethernet IP to v.20.1 will cause it to be implemented in some limited or restricted variant? Our Quartus license also expired 2021.06 but the project and IP seemingly compiles fine and I see no issues in the logs.
