Intel is releasing firmware updates to mitigate this potential vulnerability. The potential vulnerability is in the Arm Trusted Firmware that runs on the HPS. Only Altera products are affected. Vulnerability Details: CVEID: CVE-2023-22327 Description: Out-of-bounds write in Arm Trusted Firmware for some Intel® FPGA products before version 2.8.1 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access. CVSS Base Score: 6.0 Medium CVSS Vector: CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:N Affected products: Intel® Agilex™ 7 FPGA and SoC FPGA product families. Intel® Stratix® 10 FPGA and SoC FPGA product families. Recommendations: Intel recommends updating the affected Arm Trusted Firmware for FPGA product families above to version 2.8.1 or later.
