Switching to a Different User - Switching to a Different User As an admin, you have the ability to log in as a different user. This feature is useful if you need to read the messages of another team member while that person is out of the office, or if you need to view the community from the view of a certain community member to assist the user. You can find the Switch Member option by clicking on your avatar image in the top right corner. Once you select the Switch User option from the dropdown menu, a popup will appear that allows you to sign in as another user by username or user ID. Once you have switched to another user, you will see everything that the user whose account you switched to sees. In the bottom left corner, you will see a notice that states “Viewing community as <community username>. To go back to your own account, click on the gear icon and select Switch Back to Me . To switch to another community users account, select Switch to Another Member .
