The Altera® Quartus® Prime Software: Foundation (Standard Edition) (Online Training) - 216 Minutes Learn to use the Altera® Quartus® Prime software to develop an FPGA or CPLD design from initial design to device programming. You'll create a new project, input new or existing design files, and compile your project. You’ll learn how to search for compilation information, use settings and assignments to adjust the results of compilation, and manage I/O-related assignments. You'll also see how the Altera® Quartus Prime software Programmer is used to program or configure PLDs directly on your board. You will employ Altera® Quartus Prime software features that help you achieve design goals faster. You will also learn how to plan and manage I/O assignments for your target device. Course Objectives At course completion, you will be able to: Make pre-project decisions to Prepare for PLD design Create, Manage, and compile Altera® Quartus Prime software projects Use Altera® Quartus Prime software tools to view the results of compilation Review PLD compilation results in various reports and graphical viewers Plan and Manage device I/O assignments using pin Planner and the BluePrint Platform Designer Program/Configure devices in-system using the Altera® Quartus Prime software Programmer Skills Required Background in digital logic design Ability to Describe a hardware system using VHDL, Verilog or EDA schematic tool If the audio for the course does not start automatically, press pause and then play on the course player.
