Why is a reconfig_mif file not generated during compilation of my design containing a bonded mode transceiver instance for Stratix V or Arria V devices? - Why is a reconfig_mif file not generated during compilation of my design containing a bonded mode transceiver instance for Stratix V or Arria V devices?
Description Due to a problem in the Quartus® II software versions 12.0 service pack 2 and earlier a reconfig_mif file will not be generated for any Stratix® V or Arria® V transceiver instances if your design contains any transceiver instances in a bonded mode. Resolution To workaround this issue either remove the bonded instantiations from your design or create a test design containing only the non-bonded instances. This problem is scheduled to be fixed in a future version of the Quartus® II software.
