Arria® 10 FPGA – AN708: PCIe* 3.0 x8 Avalon® Memory-Mapped Direct Memory Access (DMA) with External Memory Design Example - Features: Fast and easy way to develop high-performance PCIe* 3.0 x8 hardware with the PCIe Avalon® memory-mapped (Avalon-MM) direct memory access (DMA) intellectual property (IP) core. A completed Quartus® software reference design is in the attached zipped file, which provides a pre-configured Qsys system. Allows the user to modify the Qsys file and re-generate the design. Includes a Linux* driver and application that works with the reference design. Use a built-in Avalon-MM DMA IP core to transfer data between the external DDR4 memory on the board and the system memory. Support infinite loop to test the system and IP stability. For each loop, all transferred data are compared with the source to guarantee data integrity. Requirements: Quartus® software v16.0. - 2017-06-22
